Keno Introduction

Keno is a game you either know about or you do not. It is basically considered a lotto in the casino. Similar to the lotto, the game consists of numbered balls being selected. The object is to select the numbers that come up. The game of Keno can either be rapid or slow based on the casino. By playing Keno online you can set the speed of the game. Personally, I love real life keno. You chill in a lounge, if you wish, and play. Keno is a game that you don’t need to be present to enjoy and be a winner. For instance, you could purchase a ticket for 20 games and then head off to bet on another game in the casino or even your hotel room if you are staying at the casino.

Keno Game Board

The game is played on a board. The Keno board is made up of 80 numbers – numbered 1 though eighty. The first forty are known as a the top half and the second forty are called the bottom portion.

Competing in Keno

Every game of Keno goes in the same manner. The round begins, and 20 numbers are drawn. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are sucked up and selected, exactly like the lotto on TV. Some other casinos use computers. If a number you checked is chosen, that is called a "hit." When all twenty numbers have been selected, the round ends and winning tickets are paid.

There is an abundance of choices in the game of Keno. For example, you can pick just one number, 2 numbers and so forth-up to twenty numbers. Typically, you have to get most of your numbers to win something. For instance, if you choose 6 numbers, you will usually have to get three to win your money back.

Keno Pay outs

The payouts in Keno are pretty high. The probability of getting a win is based on the total numbers marked. For example, if you select 2 numbers, you have a 6% probability of hitting your ticket. Every casino’s Keno department has their own pay outs. If you are playing on the net, be sure you look around for the greatest pay outs first.
