Introducing Keno

[ English ]

Keno is one of those games you will know about or you don’t. It’s basically considered a lottery in the casino. Like the lotto, the game is made up of numbered balls being drawn. The goal is to pick the numbers that come up. The game of Keno can either be quick or slow based on the casino. By wagering on Keno on the net you can set the pace of the game. Personally, I like real life keno. You chill in a lounge, if you wish, and play. Keno is a game that you don’t have to be in the lounge to participate and be a winner. For example, you can put in a ticket for twenty games and then go compete in something else in the casino or even your hotel room if you’re staying at the casino.

Keno Board

The game is gambled on on a game board. The Keno board consists of 80 total numbers – numbered one though 80. The top 40 are referred to as the top half and the 2nd forty are called the bottom portion.

Participating in Keno

Each round of Keno plays out in the same manner. The round commences, and 20 numbers are picked. The casino might be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are blown up and picked, just like the lotto on television. Some other casinos use computers. If a number you marked is chosen, that is called a "hit." When all 20 numbers have been selected, the round finishes and winning tickets are paid.

There is a lot of diversity in the game of Keno. For example, you can select a single number, two numbers and so on up to twenty numbers. As a rule, you have to hit a majority of your numbers to come away with something. For instance, if you choose six numbers, you will usually have to get 3 to win your money back.

Keno Pay outs

The payouts in Keno are fairly good. The probability of coming away with a win depends on the total numbers marked. For example, if you select 2 numbers, you will have a 6% chance of hitting your ticket. Each casino’s Keno department has their own pay outs. If you are playing on the net, be sure you look everywhere for the best payouts first.
